Issue #5: The Quiet Yes

This weekend, I said yes to a walk with no destination. No route, no steps tracked, just yes to movement, to air, to being led by curiosity. It felt small, but it shifted everything.

We often think of big decisions as loud and final. But there’s a quieter yes…one that lives in the body, in instinct, in stillness. It’s the yes that chooses presence over performance. You might not hear it unless you pause.

Before answering a request this week, pause. Ask, “Is this a loud yes? Or a quiet one?” Honor the difference.
