Unclench
I noticed my shoulders up near my ears again and tightness in my neck. I laughed softly. I wonder, ‘How long had they been holding tension without my permission?’
We carry so much without noticing: deadlines, expectations, worries, other things that don’t belong to us. Your body knows before your mind does…
A pause isn’t just a break. It’s a return.

Breathe into the space you just reclaimed.
Oftentimes the most important thing in a day is the rest we take between two deep breaths.
